| Documents often have to be stored for a long time due to legal requirements. Saving them inside a database is likely to fail after a long term because of corrupted database content, lost links, changes in the DB-Schema or other reasons. Archioving saves those documents and whole database structures complety together with the whole database structure in the file system, thus enabling the IT-Adminsiratration to save them in long term storage devices. |
